Nicole Walters, Sales Representative
Growing up I always wanted to be a lawyer but instead
I got my paralegal license and worked many years in the land registry office. When I became a military spouse, I had to reinvent myself and chose sales and marketing. My career in sales started for Garrison Petawawa. I surpassed existing sales records and continued to improve yearly. Sales were something I was great at, and it suited my personality very well. But after five years selling marketing opportunities, I knew I needed a new challenge.
While selling and buying my own family homes, I noticed a gap in service. I wanted more from my agent. I wanted more from the process; I wanted it to feel less transactional. I knew I could do this, and do it well. I decided to get my real estate license, take a leap of faith, leaving a career I excelled at for the unknown.
It was clear I had made the right choice when I shattered my five-year goal by year three. Now I get to spend every day doing something I love, and working with amazing people I would not have otherwise met.
More than just buying and selling houses, I want to bring honesty and integrity back to real estate. A house is your biggest investment. Beyond picking paint colours and square footage, there is a pile of paperwork and many procedures to be followed. You’re trusting me to take care of you and your interests during the process; a responsibility I take extremely seriously. I invest in myself, my photographer, and my strategies. The technological landscape is changing, and traditional methods of real estate marketing are proving less and less efficient. It is my job to keep on top of these changes and surround myself with knowledge and skilled team members.
I’m looking to work with people who communicate openly, ask questions freely and frequently, and laugh often. This will go a long way over late night coffees working to hammer out the details on that perfect deal.
